I made this reversible open back dress back in December for my grandaughter Evangeline and just got around to adding it to my website. You can check it out in my Etsy Shop.

New Year New Ideas
I have temporarily closed my Etsy and Ebay shop so that I can work on some new ideas that have been on my mind for quite sometime. First I have been wanting to find a way of helping children less fortunate than my own. My children are very blessed as I have been over the years including the wonderful blessing I have been given by my Heavenly Father of knowing how to sew. I would like to return the favor by sewing for those that are less fortunate. This project will be called Threads of Hope and will be two fold. First the sample outfits that I make for my website will be donated to a charity that helps to clothe needy children and second as soon as I reopen my site I will be donating 10% of all sales to an organization called Tim and Willy's Kids FunDation. This organization helps children all year long with not just clothing but in so many ways that I would like to participate.
My other project was brought to my attention by another mom when she suggested that I make clothing for children that require larger sizes. So that is what I'm working on , finding patterns and designs for those children that don't fit the perfect tiny mold which I was one and I have a child like that as well. I'm working feverishly on these projects as well as continuing with my sewing classes but as soon as I'm ready to reopen I will post here and on my facebook account.
